Using the site

Read the lessons, print the sheets, use them with your own students. What you may not do is copy the lessons wholesale onto another site or into a product you sell. If you want to use a substantial part of this material somewhere else, ask first at hello@learnchineseonlinehub.com.

What we promise and what we do not

The material is written carefully and checked by script, and mistakes are fixed quickly when reported. It is not a substitute for a teacher and it carries no guarantee of accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Do not rely on it for anything with legal, medical or financial consequences, and do not use it to choose a tattoo.

Stroke order data

Stroke order from Make Me a Hanzi via Hanzi Writer, Arphic Public License. The stroke order animations and the printable practice sheets are drawn from the Make Me a Hanzi dataset, distributed through the Hanzi Writer project, whose glyph outlines derive from fonts released by Arphic Technology under the Arphic Public License. That licence permits use and redistribution provided the origin is credited, which is why the credit line appears under every diagram on this site. If you reuse those diagrams, the same obligation follows them.

Everything else on the site, including the lesson text, explanations, translations, word lists and the mascot, is original work and is copyright Lunar Interactive Arts Ltd.

Accounts and payment

Neither is open yet. When they are, these terms will be updated before anything goes on sale, and the refund policy will apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Learn Chinese Online Hub is a trading name of Lunar Interactive Arts Ltd.
